I’ve begun developing colour, well worth while putting the extra time in for the access to the results you want… not to mention saving money for more adventures and cameras!
Times are changing and many new things to come. Life is exciting.
This is a frame from the first roll of film I shot through my Hasselblad, I developed this test roll earlier today and scanned the negatives just now. I need to shoot with this beautiful camera more often! Subject of beauty: Dominique Franks.
I’ve been buying, shooting, developing and scanning plenty of film… to be frank, I’ve just been too busy living for tumblr lately! So here’s a shot straight from the F4, perhaps I will get around to sharing some more before Decembers monthlong trek around the Himalayas has arrived.
I’ve begun developing my own black and white film at home, and can now realise through hindsight just how nonsensical I have been in not doing so earlier. I’ve learned so much already, and it excites me to think of how much more control I shall have over each photograph I take. Bring on more exposures and experiments!
This frame was scanned on a standard flatbed scanner so I apologise for it’s low resolution and odd texture overlay. My V700 is currently packed up along with the rest of my possessions following the relocation of myself and Dominique to the Sunshine Coast.
Nikon FM2, 35mm f1.4.
